Thirtieth Post! Yay! How About Another Preview?

Margaret George is a writer that has made a big name for herself in the world, and she has writtten four consecutive New York Times bestsellers. One I have reviewd here called "Autobiography of Henry VIII". I believe this would be considered her best novel to date, but it is really all subjective. I personally feel her best is her "Memoirs of Cleopatra", but all her books are golden. Here is a fun fact; it takes Margaret George around four years to create a new work. It is coming up around that time, and her new book will be due soon.
"Helen of Troy" "the face that launched a thousand ships" is the character based for George's new epic novel, due August 3rd of this year. I am both excited, and a little nervous because this is her fifth book, and I worry that it will not be as good as her last four. Although many feel her fourth book ("Mary, Called Magdalene") was mediocre, and I agree, because it did not fit the same style as her last several novels. See, George is known to write books about the most infamous people who have existed in history, and these past two can be questioned by different views as even existing.
Although her characters have an edge, and are suppose to strike controversy, most of the stories fit the person's life quite close. This upcoming story may be more fiction than historical, and the fifth book always seems to strike a knot in the glory of the previous four. Not saying it will suck, but I cannot be too highly optimistic, because then I become thoroughly let down by the finished product. This novel is going to be full of information though, and may even foreshadow her next work. (Her website claims it will be Queen Elizabeth's tale. This was hinted during an interview like discussion on a section on her site.) Although this may not be the foreshadow, there may be a mentioning of another chracter that is male perhaps, or another female around the time that this character may have existed that will lead to another book. Her novels always seem to either foreshadow, or flashback to another chracter she has written about. This is by far one of the most intriging parts of Margaret George's writings; teh fact she tries to tie in all her books to make a steady chain that does not slow down the pace.
I am still excited about this book nevertheless, it is the first time I am able to be informed on a book releasing of one of my favorite authors, which if you have ever felt that before, you get this strange sense of exhilliration. Anyhow, this book is not due out for around another four months, so you may be asking is it going to be a priority on my list to remeber this book release? Well, I will suggest to you that if you do not even know who Margaret George is, then no, this will not be her best book to start off with. I suggest a book I know many of you who will enjoy, the one mentioned above "Autobiography of Henry VII" is by far her most famous work, and should be picked up by anone with a hint of intrest in the author.
Now if you have read her books before, even if it is just one of the four already out, then pick this up, it is worth your time. If you cannot wait for another second for a good brand new book to read, I do suggest one other that is fairly new: "The Kite Runner" Okay, it is not too new, and I have already reviewed it, but it is by far an interesting read. Since kite fighting is now banned in Pakistan, it can show you some historic content, and is a story that tells of a great writer. Hossieni's newest book is due out quite soon as well, and is entitled "Dreaming in Titanic City", which is another book I will be picking up, and will review A.S.A.P. when it comes out.
Although I do not know much about Khaled Hossieni's newest book, I feel his pride and history will make it a reading expreience no one will ever forget. Stay up to date for further information on these books and more on Malacast Editorial
