Update Post: The Brink of February, and Beyond. Apologies for Lack of Short Stories As Well.

2016 is not necessarily going as ell as I've planned. Firstly, I've yet to see Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens, and as a major Star Wars fan, I find this inexcusable. Secondly, I've not had the chance to do a Short a Story a weekly for e blog. I've not written in over a month, and there is also no excuse for that, mbut I am working on a story currently, and I expect it to be completed before the end of the month. I will be more consistent with these stories come February; as I've taken a hiatus from writing novels.
Next,  I am also going to bite the bullet and real she the Divine, as soon as I'm able to get the book onto smashwords, or Amazon Kindle. I need a cover for the book as ell, and those are not easy to come by. I have some people in mind, but it takes them time to draw a cover, and it will take even longer to have it completed. It will be up to those individuals on just how quickly the book comes out.
Also for this upcoming week, I plan on doing at least one editorial, along with the completion of my next short story by Friday, February 5th. I will try to have one out at the release of this upda,,but if not, next week will restart the weekly tradition. I cannot wait to reach my thre hundreth post, and it's getting there, so we will see just what I do for that. I can't promise anything yet, but I can assure you it will be affluententual a post for this blog. This year we start the next ten years of the future of the Malacast Editorial. It's a new year, a new console cycle is already being proposed, and the world goes on turning with new, exciting, breakthrough novels. New ways of being published, along with new functions for applying writing to the real world. The huge jump away from fiction, to business, reference, and nonfiction works.
Writing has always been a placeholder for this blog. I've always believed that books are vital to a proper society,a dn the freedom of information being ex shingled, even in a perilous time where it is sorely unpopular is the most vital aspect to a modern human experience. Books, and the writing that is even the most obscure, is what needs to be protected most, and I've always stood by a free press, never hindering, never calling for a ban on what is offensive, even for the sake of offending. I've learned thwt offending is the key to true freedom, and the key to true maturity, is being offended, and acting by ignoring it; moving onto the next thing.
For year I've written on subjects that aren't popular, taken sides that may be considered against the majority, and standing up for what I believe in, while bringing intelligent debate over many subjects: such as the Elements of a style, writing on a fixed schedule, NOT looking to bank on the movie industry, and perhaps leaving your sequel to the professionals. For over a decade, I've been trying to make my name in the publishing industry, and I've come close, and I've missed the shot by a mile. The point is I don't give up, even in the face of defeat, I don't stop striving to be someone, because it's only those who have missed the mark that tell you to stop reaching for your dreams. I personally believe that if dreams were never meant to be fulfilled, then we wouldn't stave off the cull of Desth for just one more shot at infamy.
Sorry, I get a little rambuncuous on the topic of the written word. For now, I'd like to finalize this post by saying that the Malacast Editorial will be striving for more content, more original posts on topics that are on the threshold of breaking new grounds. I want to traverse the borders I set for myself, and I want to do the best that I can with what I have. I also thank every single person that reads my blog, because I know without you,mid not be doing this blog. I'd not stop writing, but I'd hsve given up on this whole thing years ago.
