My Blog is hear to give you some thoughts on writing, reading, and give you some facts that may be weird, may be unique, or obtuse. Nevertheless, it will tie into the overall theme.

McCain picks Sarah Pallin as his V.P. Runningmate, winning my vote
Ok, first I'm supporting the McCain-Pallin ticket, because I'm sick and tired of the Dems telling me that they're the party of change, big whoop! I was hoping Obama would've chosen the best person for the VP, but Joe Biden is far from what I was expecting, and I think that McCain choosing Sarah Pallin was a smart move for the American people. Sarah Pallin is perfect, because she's not part of the Washington Regieme that McCain cannot stand, if you listen to him, his views are pretty liberal, with a conservative backdrop, but he's all Libertarian at heart. Sure, Obama made that great speech, but great speakers have come and gone in this world, most not being the best choice: Hitler, Stalin, Lenin. Lenin especially fits to the type of person I see in a Mr. Barack Obama, who I am not saying is an evil man, Lenin is only viewed as evil because of his politics, but at heart he's no worst than JFK, that was a joke. Yes, I'm quite the conservative this year, and yeah my last year's political choices are out: Doug Stanhope being a strong candidate in the LP party, my favorite Republican Ron Paul, and of course, Hill Dogg, but don't fret, Obama and McCain were the two likely candidates, and it's going to be a whopper of a good run for the two of them.
So why exactly a I voting for McCain/Pallin, because I want to see a change in Washington government, those guys all sit up on that mammary-shaped building with the elongated nipple, and expect to suckle it dry through our tax dollars, McCain is not only a POW, he's a man of integrity, and by that I mean he has balls to do something/say something that others will shy away from because it's not "politically correct" the man is a veteran and a senior, and isn't taking shit from nobody, I admire that in a person. Plus, he's chosen a female running mate that is young, eager, and willing to learn and grow independently in Washington, a breath of fresh air. She's also as spunky as the old man, so expect her to shake up Washington a bit with her finesse.
Granted, Sarah Pallin is a newbie, but how well have the older, "experienced" politicians been doing? We give them questions, they have no answers, and they have little-to-no insight, which means they're learning how to speak well, and evade confrontation. No one, I mean no one has had a reasonable plan for: rising gas prices, illegal immigration, the drug war, the economy, even social issues like gay marriage! Hell, we can't even decide if we should let other human beings be at least a little bit happier in this shitty life by allowing them to fuck! Hell, we all love to fuck, we all love sex, we all love intimacy, yet we deny and subjugate certain groups who don't fuck how the rest of us fuck, which irritates me to no end. The situation has an easy rectifying solution, yet we're too high strung on butt sex to just let the gays fuck. Jeeze, you'd think in the 21st century all men would've at least had a fondle of their on ass to see what it's like, I mean come on!
The above statement was semi-serious, but the fact-of-the-matter is that we have yet to see any change from these politicians, literally or metaphorically. I support the idea of a McCain-Pallin ticket, because it is a big middle finger up to Washington that we're not playing the musical chairs game anymore! We're going to actually make a small-town person, who is in touch with the rest of US a powerful position in the White House. Sarah Pallin will be a great leader one day, and a great help to the leader of the free world. I was undecided with McCain/Obama for a long while, because I was upset by my party's choice of a candidate in Bob Barr, who just wanted a spot, taking away from my first favorite after Stanhope pulled out in Wayne Allen Root. He may be president one day as well, one can only hope a man of that style and vitality can make a mark on boring laymen's politics that have not changed a damn thing in the way of social/economic growth.
I am urging people out there to register to vote, I don't care what party you choose, that's a personal choice, I'm a registered Libertarian, one of the few left in the state of New York, and I must say that it is a party that is as conglumours as the American Nation. We have so many idealologies that all come into one goal, the Libertarian view of complete freedom of economics and personal choice. I believe in owning guns as protection, as the old saying say: the watchmen watch us, but who watches the watchmen?" That's our job, we deserve the right to own guns, and to have those rights hindered upon, we become slaves to a police state. Now that is a dystopian future that may very well happen, but it's quite far-fetched from reality. It is we, the people who will allow such atrocities to happen, and I hope for those young men and women who are now dying overseas protecting our liberties that we make fair and decisive choices now, for a better future.
Personally I think T. Boone is a true patriot, because he knows that he can help because he's been blessed with riches, and he wants to return something to his fellow Americans. He's not a politician, nor a government lackey, he's just a concerned American, and that's what we need to be, aware, informed, and intelligent because let's face it, we can't be babied by the government from cradle to grave.
Despite those naysayers who think McCain is Bush, that is so far from truth that I laugh at people who assume all Republicans are Bushes. It's a political party, one of many, the truth is that most people don't belong in the party they're running as, because we're so torn up/influenced by both media and individuals of all different backgrounds that one way for one party cannot be true. Granted, Republicans will be there for bailing out our economy to some extent, and Democrats will at least try to fight for social freedom, failing miserably at it I might add, but it's not just liberal and conservative, it's more who we are, and what we believe that make us just the little bit different. We are all patriots to some extent, because we all think we know what's right for this country, but that's the beauty of this world, we choose what we think is right, and if we mess up, we have to rectify our mistakes, and that is why we the people will always stand as one, because who else can we depend on?
In a world that is dark, and that even dangers lurk on shore, in our communities, we watch out for each other, and we try to save faith in each other's trust. We set up neighborhood watches, we protect our own investments at home, at work, and in our private lives, and we try to stay out of each other's business. We believe you're innocent to proven guilty, we give you the benefit of a doubt, and we try our best to help those who do indeed need that help. We stray at times, making the victim a glutton for punishment, and giving more aide at times to those who cause harm, and those victimized by that harm seem to be evil, we demonize victims! That has to change, why do pedophiles get more psychological help than the kids they rape? Why do murders do less time than drug pushers? If there's no extremes to a crime, and breaking the law is breaking the law, then why do car thieves not get the chair? Hopefully McCain will attempt to fix these wrongs.
McCain also wants to make it easier to adopt children in this country, rather than I having to adopt children from another country. See, I think that as we are the people united under the roof of this great nation, we also should be able to help those younger, more feeble than us out by adoption. They say children overseas need help, and they do, I will never say any different, but we put the world before our own people, and that is the same thing Rome has done, and it will be our downfall. I want to be able to adopt a child in the future, it is the most selfless thing one can ever do, and I believe that by doing this I set an example that it does not take strength to adopt, just a loving heart, and common sense.
McCain by-the-way is a father to an adoptive girl, which most see as a very tough thing to do, but I say nay, it is one the best things anyone can ever do, to take on the responsibility of a child that has been left behind for a reason that can never have a good excuse, (excluding death of parents) that is one of the greatest gifts you can ever give a person: a loving home. I believe that with McCain-Pallin, we may see in the next few years, which is when I may very well adopt a child. I'm young, but in four, and possibly eight years, I'm not going to be quite so young. I hope McCain is able to do something positive, but all I have now is "vaporware" as the techies call it, so I'm not sure if what he says he can deliver is what I'll get in the end, but one can only hope, and one can put that hope. They call it a two-hand vote for a reason: one hand holds their nose shut, while the other pulls the lever to cast their ballot. Despite the outcome, this years' elections will be as historic as any, perhaps even more historic, as we're guaranteed a chance for something different.
