Saw II and Doom Previews

Can this classic game really be a good movie? Find out after my review coming very soon!
Yes, it is Haloween again, and that means that all the horror films of the summer are not to be ousthined by another set of mundane movies such as "The Fog" and "Cry_Wolf", but none of these movies will compare to the sequel to last year's Halloween thriller, "SAW" "SAW II" is going to be everything the fans like from the first movie and more. It has just come out today, and I anticipate it to be one of the best horror film sequels in years. The last sequel that I gave props to was Rob Zombie's "The Devil's Rejects" which was a decent film that seemed to be on par with its counterpart "House of a 1,000 Corpses".
SAW II is by far one of the most anticipated sequels, and one that needs to explain the storyline of the last film by tying up the loose ends that may have annoyed fans in the first movie. I have been a horror film fanatic for years, and I will tell you this, this film needs to tie up those loose ends in the sequel if it wants to win my vote.

"SAW II" will be one movie that will freak you out, there is no debate there. The other horror film that seems to be anticpation for myself is "Doom" the movie that was created off the videogame. This has been an all-time favorite game of mine, and I do recommened the film. I know in the past that videogames transfered to movies badly, and I do not need to name the countless failures in the past, but I assure you that this movie will stay true to the game. The movie also pionneers on the first person perspective we've all come to know and love from FPS games. So if this movie turns out to be a bomb, then I assure you it will be a complete upset in video games, and movies, and I will not ever see a video game to movie transition ever again.
If it is a good film though, I feel that the Silent Hill film will do better than the Resident Evil transition to the big screen, and in hopes that it will be worth watching. Stay tuned for my review of both "Saw II" and "Doom", and also for more information on the "Silent Hill" movie that is now in production.
