I Should Be Writing Podcast is Both Useful and Entertaining

Mur Lafferty's podcast I Should Be Writing is a podcast for "wanna-be writers", and has been a great show that introduced the idea of the magic spreadsheet, and NaNoWriMo to me. It has some gets interviews from some of the biggest up-and-coming fiction writers, many from ebook publishing, and many that come from traditional publishing routes. I've been a fan of hers for about a year now, and her idea of continuously writing is very much an inspiration. I've been listening to her podcast with glee, and I find her ability to introduce writing as more than just completing a goal, but a daily regime as important as those who perhaps run track, or jog every morning, writing is an exercise that takes no breaks, and she puts the rest of us writers to shame. She shows each and every single show that she wants it, and that is sincerely inspiring. Many of us write maybe once a week, or once a month if we're lucky. She makes it a point to write each and every single day she can, which is what I Should Be Writing is all about: no excuses, just write! Mur Laffety is more inspired than even the most aspiring of writers. She makes me plush in embarrassment, and shows that even in my years of expertise, I've still not reached that pinnacle, that unrelenting ability to just keep pressing forward, always mercilessly writing, cramping up every last phalange. I find it's sinful, that the name Mur Laffety is not on everyone's reading list, she's superb. Many writes believe themselves splash in the pans, but Mur has always been the real deal. I've always admired the consistency of her work, and although I've only admired her from her podcasting on I Should Be Writing, her other fiction podcasts have a very strong following, and deservedly so, she's one of the most creative fiction writers of this generation. She should have more fans, because she is one of the few writers out there that genuinely deserves recognition for her talent. She's not grandiose in nature, although she's stunningly plotted, she comes off very modest, very down-to-earth, yet so transcendent of many others who have come forth, she surpasses them to a degree that seems immeasurable. I admire her podcast, which can be downloaded on iTunes, but you can check out more about Ms. Lafferty at murverse.com. I recommend that if you have never heard of her, check her out, you may find yourself enjoying the pleasantries of Ms. Lafferty as much as I do.
