Coming back to the story I'm writing, I expect it to be a two-part post, and I'll be making sure it's out relatively soon, but seeing as this story is going to be much longer than my usual short post, I'd rather it be done better, rather than faster than usual. I also like the idea that is permeating as I type, and I don't want to pressure myself into underwriting, or attempting to quickly write it just for the sake of coming out sooner than it needs to be.
I'll be posting reviews of Pokken Tournament (a Wii U game) after I compete in a local tournament, but I'll probably not make it through story mode, unless everyone afterwards wants to try it out. Even so, I'll be able to get enough information to rate it as a fighting game, and if it holds water against the likes of Tekken, a Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat in-comparison. In early April, I plan on seeing Batman V. Supermam: Dawn of Justice, so I will have my critical, unbiased review up for reading pleasure as well. I'll also be doing a summer review of video games coming out, and of course this will be leading up to information about E3 which I'll watch online. I don't believe this year will be that great, although the announcement of the Playstation 5 will likely be the speculation, and whether or not Nintendo will be announcing any new consoles, or more information on their Universal Studios partnership post-prior discussion this upcoming week...perhaps a Legend of Zelda film in the works? Although this will not be until mid-June, I'll be doing my predictions on what I expect to see at E3 this year in April, solely because I want to get my predictions in before all the leaks begin, as they seem to come earlier and earlier every year. I will begin writing it in late March and release in late April, so all predictions made will be prior the June/July announcements made before/during/after the Electronic Entertainment Expo. I will "live-tweet" some of the event, if applicable, although my in-depth review will be released in the following days. Whatever happens, I'll definitely do a full-on review for at least the first two days, but I'll try to get all four, which includes press day. In a separate post I'll be doing a short post on what I got right, and the many, many predictions I'll get wrong.
Lastly, I'll be adding new stories to Short Story Weekly, and I assure you all that a separate page will be created for those posts so they can all be accessed like a separate site, making it easier to navigate the stories from the other posts. At the very least, it'll make the posts more organized, and accessible to readers.
Thank you all again for reading the Malacasf Editorial, I will be back next week with new posts, as we make our way towards three-hundred posts! This is very exciting, as I'm more than halfway there, and expect to reach three hundred before the beginning of summer. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do for post 300, but it will be something huge, I assure you. Not necessarily in the size of the post either, but something surprising, I promise. I've already begun coming up with creative ideas, so expect to see that post late Spring 2016, if all things go accordingly.
