Transformers Preview

Nerds, Fanboys/girls unite! The days of destruction are upon us! One of the greatest animes of my childhood is now becoming a major motion picture, and with Micheal Bay at the wheels of these mechanical Behemoths, I very much dobut it will suck.
Transformers the movie (From Dreamworks/Paramount pictures) is perhaps the most exciting film of the summer thus far for fanboys/girls to look forward to seeing (Other than Underdog, of course). Anywho, this film is being directed by Micheal Bay, who also did great films like "The Island" and "Pearl Habor", which means the Autobots and Decepticon will have that Bay look , and it will be an epic battle to behold. Normally, I am very, very skeptical of any of these films that fall under "videogame/anime" genre, but this film looks promising nonetheless.
If you do not know the premise of this movie, it's about the Autobots, lead by Optimus Prime, who come from the Planet Cybertron, fighting against the Decpticons, lead by Megatron. The Autobots are out to protect worlds from the Decpeticons, who will stop at nothing at draining the worlds they invade of all their natural resources. Who will win in the classic battle between good and evil? We will all find out July 3rd/ or July 2nd @ midnight in some theaters. I will try my best to be one of the first to see this epic summer film, but alas, it may be longer before I get a chance.

Image from http://www.majorspoilers.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/primecrop.jpg This is what Optimus Prime is going to look closest to in the new film, this is not entirely accurate, but perhaps the best model to use to give you an idea as to the CGI of the film I anticipate this to be the perfect IMAX film, and I hope to see it that way, and that this film will be worth seeing in theaters, do not wait until DVD release.
