Review of the NBA Playoffs Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics Series, and Thoughts on Game Seven

VERSUS

People sometimes ask why sports are important, why do people care so much about a bunch of Neanderthals with triple digit salaries and double digit IQs. I'd normally agree with some of those accusations, but when you witness something like this 2009 NBA Playoffs Series of the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics, you witness the absolute humanity that comes with Basketball. I personally have never been a gradn basketball fan, but I know a dynasty uprising when I see it, and that rivarly is seen in this spectacular series.
You'll see these sport anchors use words like spectacular, amazing, and phenomenal so loosely for even the most lameduck game, but this amazing series, which is on it's way to Boston for Game Seven is Immortal.
If you've not been following this series, either because you're not a Bulls/Celtics fan, or a basketball fan at all, I highly recommend you see what true drama, it shows through in these games. Words that describe what you've seen during the last six games could be synonymous to a compelling drama, or a showcase of pure tenacity. Fear, aggression, tiredness, pain, and conquest are even more words I could toss ou at how important these games have been in the history of the NBA.
The rookie of the year, Derrick Rose has been a powerhouse of a player that showcases more like a pro-star than someone coming into the big games for the first time. This crown jewel of the game has truly inspired my faith in the Chicago Bulls Franchise. Other vital players that make this a winning franchise are Kirk Hinrich and Brad Miller, two amazing players that will definitely be a factor in game seven
Not to discredit the Celtics' astounding players, for they too have made this emotional roller coaster of a series just as spectacular as their opponents. Players like Ray Allen, Tony Allen, and Ron Rondo have shown all the potential of an all-star team for the Celtics lineup. This team's full roster is a force to be reckoned with, and against an inferior team, they trample them like a swarm of locusts over a crop.

This series has gone back and forth, with both teams having the advantage and being tied, the series is now tied at three and three, with the seventh and final game going triumphantly for the Bulls back to Boston. Much criticism has been given to both teams performance so far, but to criticize at such a high level o playing, almost seems like a complaint to perfection. Never before have I seen basketball played so well that it looked like an art-form watching these two teams have at it for over four quarters with three overtimes!
So much has happened in over six games, but I guarantee these games will see the light of broadcast again, but they will be shown on channels like ESPN Classics, or NBA TV or some channel that will show the immortals of the sport. This game tonight shoed me that Derrick Rose may be the diamond in the rough, and could he possibly be the next Michael Jordan of the Bulls? Perhaps, time will be the fortune teller of that prophecy. Will Rose make his own self-fulfilling prophecy, or will the Bulls have to go back to basic training? Will the Celtics continue to build a winning team that transcends all hype, or will they be defeated by a comeback franchise?
If you feel this is just broad hype of a simple basketball game, tune in Saturday to see for yourself that legends are made in all walks of life, and this upcoming Celtics and Bulls game is truly one of those historical moments. So don't just buy the cliche of overpaid sports anchors, don't just take this blog's opinion of the game, tune in on Saturday on TNT (check your local listings for times and channels in your area) at 8:00pm, seven thirty for TNT Sports NBA Pre-game show if you want some highlights of the past games to catch you up to speed, but whatever you do, make some time, even if it's at the very end with ten seconds left, to catch the end of this series, because it's a game that will go down not only in NBA History, but very well in Sports history.

I'm no sports guru, I'm not really one to be a sports expert, or know everything about everything that is the wide world of sports, but I know greatness when I see it, it has a certain sparkle of magic. It has a certain taste of glory that singes the tongues of those witnessing such a spectacle, and it is the Bulls-Celtics Playoffs Series. Catch the game, bite the criticism, and see history be made.
If I had to root for either team in this series, I'd have to root for the Bulls because they're showing much greater potential, except they are dribbling too much during shots. I find that this is not smart playing, but hopefully it will cease, and the game will play as interesting as it did tonight. Good luck to both teams, whoever wins, we're guaranteed an amazing game.
