Evolve: First Impressions Preview-A-Palooza Post 4 of 10

I had the opportunity to see some exclusive footage of Evolve, and I have to say, I'm not all that excited
just yet. I really don't know much about this game, but it has more hype than a Metal Gear Solid title, and looks to have as ample the disappointment factor of most Metal Gear Solid titles. Maybe I'm old, out-of-touch with the gaming community, and that's all fine and dandy, especially since I'm. It a fan of most MMORPGs, and this loos to be another generic MMORPG at first glance. There's probably a mechanic, or some RTS additive that makes it special, but I'm not looking forward to the game.
The sad thing is, it looks like it has very little going for it: the landscapes I've seen were tragic, the gameplay looked outdated, and I saw ten minutes of gameplay, it grew stale in less than five. Maybe other people are psyched for this title, many are talking about it all over the internet like it's the Videogame god's gift to man. Sure, I could say that I've. It played it, and I've seen only one mode. Yet, I'm not really all that familiar with this styles of game, other than Diablo, or the original Fallout. I personally think the game will sell well, but that doesn't make it good.
I'm going to keep my eyes peeled out as we approach the launch date, but as for now, my view of this game still stands as it looks below par for what I'd expect from this current generation of software. Still, the game looks utterly boring to me, but I'm one of those gamers that hates monotony, which is probably why I obsess over fighters, puzzle games, and full on story playthroughs. Still, as more information is leaked about Evolve, I could very well change my tone, but something tells me, I'm not going to be all that enthused with the finished product, the same way I was under-excited for games like Bioshock: Infinite, and Batman: Arkham Origins.
