Playstation 4: Proud of My Paperweight

I finally bought a Playstation 4, and just within the nick of time it seems, because all he games that should've been out last year are finally releasing, and attack of the sequels begins now. We are officially out if launch title mode, and we are now going towards the best of the best in genre-defining titles, although new IPs are limitedto several titles that will either make or break potential franchises, I'm more looking forward to several sequels that should've finished on last generation systems. As a part of the gaming community, and a strong proponent of offline gaming, I find it necessary to make the point that single-player titles are a dying breed, and apparently players such-as myself are a micro-niche in a giant niche market, easily forgotten, and forced to conform. I find it terribly trivial of developers to forget jay offline gamers do make up a fairly small portion of their clientele, but we are also the most vocal when we want quality over quantity, and we want to unplug and play a game without a billion tiny distractions, and online micro-aggressions aimed at us for wanting to play he new Call of Duty. Personally, I'm happy to have my PS4, although I have not bought any games for it yet. I feel like a man who has trudged through a desert, begging for water, then when coming upon a likely oasis, discovers it is but a pit of salt water. I cannot play my system, because the game I bought that was forced upon me via packaging and promotion is a DLC copy of the Last of Us Remastered.
So now I have this copy of a game I cannot use, and now I have to think of looking at my $400+ paperweight sit there on my dresser. Call me crazy, but isn't that just a tad bit sad? Yes I know I've could've waited a bit and bought a game and he system when I had the money, but seeing as I'm on a budget, I figured I'd grab it, and play the game whenever I could download it, and besides, it is probably he best game on a console in generations.
Of course ill eventually get the game int here, the point was that cknsoles, even after launch used to come with 2 controllers, and sometimes even two games outside of the box.
Sure, DLC saves the manufacturers money. Still, I'd like to have a disc game. Disc is simply the best form of gaming, hands-down. If they could create a way to keep discs from scratching, it would be the best,  and DLC would die out. Sure it saves you a trip to the store, but I'd rather get a physical copy.  UPDATE: I put the game on the PS 4, and I also put on PT finally.
