The iWatch Preview Post

Apple is pumping up their watch for an April release. Tell me, do we all need a smart watch? Well, not everyone has a a need for a smart watch, but history repeats itself. See most people hear Apple watch, they think....but I don't need that to check the time! I have. Y phon! I'm thought to myself: cool! Now I don't have to take out my phone  every time I want to check the time. In-tuth, I'm shocked they didn't make this first, hen the iPhone, but I'm quite impressed with the watch so-far. It makes checking e-mail a cinch, and the fact you can check weather, pulse, and use it pratincole like a pedometer is pretty sweet. It syncs with your iPhone so it gets your calls, and it has some impressive features. Also, it has the bulk of the App Store at its disposal, but I'm not sure if Apple is going to be giving this hardware its own store section in the future.

I'm not certain if people are going to get this at first. Most Apple products are simple, in-that they work well out of the bix, easy to navigate, and come preloaded so you don't waste ample amounts of time searching for the most basic apps. Still, this is a watch, and most of us from generation X and Y have given up on watches as passive and arcane. Yet I believe that this is also a product aimed at the mid-range customers, like forty-to sixty-five age range, and I know for certain the hipster mo me t is going to be Adament about this product for its retrograde feel, and the infinite personalization it will have. I find it ironic in a world where macs seem so generic, it took something as old-fashioned as a watch to truly separate them from their competitors.
Also, I loving the Mickey Mouse retro watch that jiggles and whistles. If Apple ever crates a clock, it has to be a Felix the Cat clock. Still, this fancy watch needs some tweaking before it is at Apple quality, and that is with the software. Granted, a day 1 patch/update, or even a few tweaks and dusting before launch tells me that sit will most likely run more suffice fly than the version I was lucky to preview. Granted, the watch itself is still an apple inside secret until April, early adopters who are emerging for reviews are pretty much saying what I am: it a hit or miss, because conditioning is easy, unconditioning is a bitch. Many people may not want to go back to the watch. Also, watches have an eerie elitism behind them that tend to make people uneasy.
Despit all that, most people will buy it simply because Apple made it, which is fine, but let's look at projected prices, as I'm sure it will come in multiple hard drives. Being the cheapest is going to be roughly $425-$450 with most tax, I'm not sure most people will want it, but remember this also: considering the quality of the watch, the strap being a strong leather, and even a gold version, the watch is a tad cheaper than the bigger of the iPod touch systems out there.
So do I like it? Not really sure, because I see potential app-wise that could make this the coolest gadget on earth, like giving power ranger sounds. I would love to see a version of this that is a tad larger screen size, but I think it would be interesting to see this watch used like a wii-mote and be able to become a full body interactive hardware tool. I'm sure an app and software update will do, although Apple has not been on top be nit comes to the gaming features of most of these products.
